Mark Halliday teaches at Ohio University. His books of poems are Little Star (William Morrow, 1987), Tasker Street (University of Massachusetts Press, 1992), Selfwolf (University of Chicago Press, 1999), Jab (University of Chicago Press, 2002), and Keep This Forever (Tupelo Press, 2008). His study of Wallace Stevens, Stevens and the Interpersonal, was published in 1991 by Princeton University Press. He has published many essays on contemporary poets including Claire Bateman, Joshua Clover, Carl Dennis, Tony Hoagland, David Kirby, August Kleinzahler, Kenneth Koch, Larry Levis, Mary Ruefle, and James Tate.
